IAYG is undergoing an exciting transformation. We're looking to develop more innovative virtual programming during the pandemic and particularly interested in developing new efforts in environmental education, as well as GIS/geospatial work. If you're passionate about designing projects & programmes for young people, working with volunteers, communicating across cultural regions, and our mission to help young people learn more about the world, we're looking for you.

Qualifications

Strong English communications skills required. Proficiency in French or Spanish a plus. Experience communicating across multiple cultural regions a plus. Experience with programme writing or project management a plus.

If you're passionate about designing projects & programmes for young people, working with volunteers, communicating across cultural regions, and our mission to help young people learn more about the world, we're looking for you.

This position incorporates a flexible commitment of up to 10 hours per week. You will be working with Aaron Francisco, Director, Programme and Impact Planning. We are looking for two team members in this role, so we welcome applicants primarily interested in one or two of the following areas: environmental education, virtual programming, GIS and geospatial education.

We're looking for applicants with:
- 1+ years of leadership experience in a small to midsize nonprofit organization or university club/association
- A track record of accountability and delivery on objectives
- Interest in geographic, global, and environmental education
